Il film è stato adattato da John D. Brancato, Michael Ferris e John Rogers da una storia di Theresa Rebeck, John D. Brancato e Michael Ferris. Basato sull'omonimo personaggio di DC Comics, ma il film non fa parte dell'universo cinematografico della DC. Infatti la sceneggiatura si discosta completamente dalla storia originale di Catwoman: nel film l'alter ego del personaggio non si chiama Selina Kyle bensì Patience Philips e non vive a Gotham City, ma a New York.

FINE May have minimal wear with possible pinholes in the borders and/or slight fold wear. Minor tape on the back and very small tears are also allowable as is slight fading.
VERY GOOD TO FINE In slightly more used condition than fine, but still very presentable.
VERY GOOD May have some fold separation, border staining or small tears, but the image is still relatively clean.
GOOD TO VERY GOOD Slightly below average used condition. Can use restoration but is still fairly presentable.
GOOD Below average used condition, could benefit from linen-backing.
FAIR TO GOOD Significant condition issues, requires linen-backing.

COSA SONO LE FOTOBUSTE?

Il significato possiamo cercalo nella scomposizione della parola stessa. Infatti, se solo proviamo a scriverlo separatamente “foto busta” già ci avviciniamo spontaneamente a riconoscere visivamente la sua rappresentazione. Si tratta di un set di foto scattate durante le riprese del film con aggiunte le indicazioni del titolo e della produzione raccolte in un involucro di carta (busta) con stampate le informazioni essenziali tra cui il regista, l’anno di edizione, il titolo originale e i credit. Chiaramente la parte principale dello spazio è dedicata all’immagine del film e la selezione delle scene era ad opera delle case di distribuzione. La collezione completa varia dalle 8 alle 16 foto buste per ogni pellicola. Fotobusta in inglese? Visto che si sono diffuse in tutto il mondo potrebbe capitarvi di sentire parlare di “lobby card”, o “lobby set” in english! Si tratta delle prime foto introdotte negli Stati Uniti dopo la prima decade del novecento.
